First Aid for Sports Coaches

This course is suitable for anybody involved with providing basic first aid in a sports setting. It provides a basic core knowledge to deal with an injured person until the emergency services arrive. This course meets the requirements of most sports governing bodies such as the RFU.

This is also a useful refresher for those who already hold a full first aid certificate. The practical and theory sessions can be tailored to individual needs but we often include:

CPR	First Aid Priorities
Medical Conditions	Eye and Ear Injuries
Wounds and Bleeding	Managing Incidents
Sprains and Strains	Allergies and Anaphylactic Shock
Choking	Fractures

We can deliver courses in your own sports venue for up to 20 candidates. We can run simultaneous courses for more if required.

This is a more relaxed and fun course and there is no formal assessment or examination.

Upon successful completion of this course a certificate is issued which is valid for three years.
