With the introduction of Benedict’s Law which sets out mandatory, statutory allergy safety requirements for schools in England, it is essential that staff and volunteers in school and education settings have the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and appropriately when an allergy related emergency occurs.
Designed for all staff and volunteers working in schools and education settings this course is delivered over 2 hours and prepares Learners to recognise, manage and respond effectively to allergy-related incidents and medical emergencies. During the session candidates are required to complete a multiple choice examination.
Upon successful completion and examination, candidates will be issued with an e-certificate that can be downloaded and printed at home/work.
This qualification is valid for 1 year.
