Working safely is designed for people working at any level, in any sector, in any location worldwide, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health. It gives everyone an understanding of why they must work safely and encourages staff to be actively involved in improving their workplace safety and health.
The course covers the following modules:
- An outline of occupational safety and health
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
At the end of the day candidates are required to complete a multiple choice exam.
Upon successful completion and examination, candidates will be issued with an e-certificate that can be downloaded and printed at home/work.
This course is delivered via a virtual platform so it is essential that you have:
- Microsoft Teams
- A good standard of internet connection to support virtual learning
- A download rate of at least 15/20 mega bits per second
- Chrome and adobe reader
- A working camera that must be kept on at all times
