Did you know that over 60% of companies that experience a serious fire will go out of business within three years of the fire occurring?
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires employers and persons in control of premises to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and take such action that is required to ensure the safety, so far as is reasonably practicable, of employees and other persons who may be at risk.
This course is suitable for all employees and employers and those that have been assigned special duties concerning fire within their workplace. It is designed to give attendees a basic understanding of the causes of workplace fires, fire prevention and the actions to take on discovering a fire, along with the actions required if a fire warden.

- Preventing Fires
- Saving Lives and Minimising Damage
- Fire Safety Procedures
- Types of Fire Extinguishers and their use
- Duties of the fire warden
Please note that it is recommended that candidates undertake refresher training every 3 years to ensure they are kept up-to-date with current legislation and practices.
