This course is suitable for Teaching and Support Staff who may at times support the fully qualified Paediatric First Aiders within a school.
This is also a useful refresher for those who already hold a paediatric first aid certificate. The practical and theory sessions can be tailored to individual needs but we often include:
Paediatric CPR
Paediatric Medical Conditions
Wounds and Bleeding
Burns & Scalds
Choking
First Aid Priorities
Eye and Ear Injuries
Managing Incidents
Allergies and Anaphylactic Shock
Fractures
We can include Adrenaline Auto Injectors (Epi-Pen) and Asthma training for all your staff as part of this course.
We can deliver courses in your own nursery or school for up to 30 candidates. We can run simultaneous courses for more if required.
This is a more relaxed and fun course and there is no formal assessment or examination.Upon successful completion of this course a certificate is issued which is valid for three years.
